Mr. Rajendra Prasad Khaitan is the founder of RAL & JMD of NBCL. A progressive thinker, he is deeply involved in social work, especially in education and upliftment of the poor and is actively involved with a number of organizations/institutions in this regard , like : Chinmaya Mission, Ekal Vidyalaya Foundation, Ramakrishna Mission. He has held various senior positions in these organizations,helping in organizing funds and establishing more than 22,000 One Teacher Schools for poor children in villages. His current mission is to reduce the health hazards of the rural people from kerosene fumes by providing better quality affordable lights for the rural masses.

CREATING AWARENESS ON ERADICATION OF SOCIAL EVILS

As essential component of our corporate social responsibility is to care for the community .. We endeavor to make a positive contribution towards eradication of deeply rooted social evils i.e Corruption , Female Foeticide & womanising leading to AIDS . RAL has recently sponsored a film " YOGI VS BHOGI" produced by Ms. Vandana Khaitan , the film has a stong social message for the youth of today. an eminent social personality Ms.Kiran Bedi (IPS) has given a guest appearence in the film & important character is played by "Siddharth Mohan" a renowned Sufi Singer associated with 'Art of Living'. The film is very well appreciated & giving a strong message regarding Female foeticide , Corruption & AIDS . The Aim of the film is to fight social evils through Spiritual awakening.

10 crore tribals in 1 lac villages, constitute almost 10% of the total population of India. Strong Human Resource can be the National Strength.

39% of Indians illiterate (53% of Scheduled Tribes 45% of Scheduled Castes) Tribal regions are rich in natural resources – vegetation and minerals etc.The sensitive zones of the country are vulnerable for many kinds of exploitations. Talented, potential and rich in native wisdom, they can convert their villages into energy reservoirs and income generating units Opportunities and Facilities, Education and Training develop their skills.
